Meeting on International Cooperation

Shaping the Future of International Cooperation: exploring the role of, and opportunities for philanthropic foundations

11h00 - 13h00

Universitätsklinik Balgrist, Auditorium

Cercles de travail

With the emergence of a new paradigm for international cooperation, this workshop brings together SwissFoundations members engaged in international cooperation to explore shared priorities, identify gaps, and raise key questions about the path forward. The insights generated will lay the groundwork for a structured dialogue with the SDC (and potentially other federal actors) and help identify opportunities for future collaboration.

The outcomes of these discussions will also feed into both the keynote speech and the breakout session at the Swiss Foundations Symposium, ensuring that the collective reflections shape the wider conversation on the future of international cooperation.

This meeting on International Cooperation will take place from 11:00 to 13:00, at the Universitätsklinik Balgrist Auditorium, just before the SwissFoundations General Assembly.

Please note that registration for the two events is separate. To attend this meeting, kindly register using the form provided on this page.

Network on StiftungSchweiz

Given the diversity of approaches among SwissFoundations members, we have set up a network on StiftungSchweiz to facilitate the exchange of experiences. This platform enables members to share how their foundations are supporting organizations facing immediate funding cuts, explore initiatives to establish a “bridge fund,” and coordinate efforts by learning who is doing what, where, and how in response to these drastic cuts.

If you are a member of SwissFoundations and would like to join the network, please contact baker@swissfoundations.ch.
