The Julius Baer Foundation is committed to reducing inequalities in wealth, education, and opportunity. In their newly published Annual Report, the foundation focuses on the connection between wealth and education: Tackling wealth inequality is intrinsically linked to tackling education inequality at an early stage.

In 2022, the Julius Baer Foundation achieved significant milestones. Six years ago, the foundation introduced wealth inequality as their new core area. Since then, twenty projects were supported, benefiting over 19,960 participants and demonstrating the effectiveness of the approach.

The foundation has recognised the critical connection between wealth and education, understanding that addressing wealth inequality requires early intervention in education inequality. This insight has led the Julius Baer foundation to realign its strategy, embracing wealth and education as its two pillars of equality.
