The Environment and Sustainability Working Group and the Seedling Foundation are pleased to announce a roundtable on decarbonisation that will take place on the 20th of February at the SwissFoundations office in Geneva (Maison des Fondations).

Our guest, Jean-Marc Jancovici, is well known for his support of France’s decarbonisation efforts: He is a member of the „Haut Conseil pour le climat„, an independent French body tasked with providing advice and recommendations to the French government on how to reduce France’s greenhouse gas emissions, a professor at Mines ParisTech, co-founder of the carbon strategy consultancy Carbone 4, and co-founder and president of The Shift Project in France, a think tank advocating the transition to a post-carbon economy.

During the session, we will hear from J.M. Jancovici about The Shift Project’s approach and progress, among other topics. The format is a roundtable discussion and will allow for participants‘ inputs and questions. 

Lunch will be served after the discussion part of the programme. The event will be held in English.
