Philanthropy in Liechtenstein – VLGST´s anniversary publication is now available in English

In January 2021, The Association of Liechtenstein Charitable Foundations and Trusts (VLGST) published „Philanthropie Liechtenstein – Nachhaltig engagiert für das Gemeinwohl“ to celebrate their 10 year anniversary. Due to its great success, VLGST decided to also publish an English version „Philanthropy in Liechtenstein – Sustainably committed to the common good“ which is now available online.

The publication combines a review of what has been achieved and an outlook on the challenges of the future in an assessment of the current situation. In recent years, Liechtenstein has seen a steady increase to around 1,400 charitable foundations and trusts. In order to give these non-profit actors a strong, united voice, the VLGST was founded in 2010. For a decade, VLGST has been working to promote the reputation of Liechtenstein as a location, to position it for the future and thus to ensure optimal development opportunities for the non-profit sector.

The anniversary publication summarises what makes Liechtenstein an outstanding location for philanthropic and charitable work and shows the many ways in which grant-making foundations achieve charitable and sustainable impact.
